AXIS UK Services Gender Pay Gap Report
For the 12-month period ending April 5, 2024

Introduction
We are publishing the gender pay gap metrics for AXIS UK Services Limited, as required by the UK Government. The gender pay gap measures the difference in pay between all men and women regardless of role. It is therefore not a measure of pay equity, in that gender pay gap reporting does not compare the pay of employees delivering like-for-like work. Rather, it shines a light on factors that lead to a gap in pay between genders.
Since our first disclosure in 2018, the gap in mean hourly pay and the gap in mean bonus pay have reduced every year. This year’s report shows an improvement of over four percentage points in the gap in mean hourly pay compared to the previous reporting period, while female representation in our highest paid roles improved by six percentage points.
While we have made progress, we remain fully committed to continuing efforts to further reduce the pay gap between male and female employees at AXIS in the UK and globally. We firmly believe that the biggest opportunity to close the pay gap is by improving the balance in gender representation across the organisation, which is key within our overall HR and diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.
Information about the steps we take to create an inclusive environment at AXIS can be found on our website: axiscapital.com/careers.
