AXIS provides first-party hull and machinery coverage for commercial vessels. This includes protection for physical damage to vessels owned and operated by insureds.

Coverage and capacity
Coverage is offered using the American Institute of Marine Underwriters (AIMU) hull form, which includes protection against grounding, fire, explosion, collision, perils of the sea, and more. We also offer breach of warranty coverage where required by vessel financing arrangements.
Capacity: Up to $15 million.
